Evan Howard is a 6’6” right-footed striker from Newcastle, England. He combines his physical presence and aerial ability with strong movement, hold-up play, link-up ability, and a natural instinct for goal. Last season, Howard was one of the most productive attacking players in USL League Two, finishing runner-up for the national Golden Boot.
On the year Howard scored 22 goals and provided 10 assists in 28 appearances. His performances also earned him USL League Two Team of the Year recognition. Howard has experience with SIUE, Coastal Carolina University, Lionsbridge FC, and Leicester City FC. Most recently, he featured against Manchester City U23s while on trial with Tranmere Rovers, adding valuable experience against top-level opposition. He has also previously been on trial with LA Galaxy.
