Andres Lagos

Andres is an experienced defensive midfielder and current Glenorchy Knights FC captain with a football background spanning Australia, Chile and
the United States. He developed through high-level Australian and Chilean youth environments before competing in NCAA Division II football
in the United States and progressing into senior football in Australia. Primarily operating as a No. 6, Andres excels with ball recovery being a defining strength: reading danger, anticipating passes, winning second balls, competing in duels and protecting the back line. He combines defensive intensity
with tactical discipline, work rate and the ability to regain possession and help the team play forward. Andres is bilingual in English and Spanish and
experienced across possession-based and direct physical football environments.
